As cases of COVID-19 are on the rise, Hypertension Nephrology Associates continues ensure the safety of its patients and staff by following the recommended CDC protocols.

As cases of COVID-19 are on the rise, Hypertension Nephrology Associates continues ensure the safety of its patients and staff by following the recommended CDC protocols. As a reminder, face masks are required to be worn by patients, guests, and staff at all times when in the office. Staff members are also guarded with a face shield when interacting with patients. Patients and their guests are to be screened at the door, and get their temperature taken before entering the lobby. We are limiting the number of patients and guests in the lobby to no more than 4 people at a time, spacing people apart for social distancing. We have hand sanitizer available for use around the office. Staff is cleaning the lobby and other high touch points regularly. If a patient is uncomfortable coming in for their appointment, we still offer tele-health appointments. Call our office today if you would like to schedule a tele-health appointment!

Some additional protocols that patients, guests, and staff should follow are:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer with 60% alcohol before or after touching any surfaces in public areas, such as in the waiting area.
  • Avoid touching your face, including your eyes, nose, and mouth. If you must touch your face – be sure to perform appropriate hand washing before and after contact.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your elbow and throw away the tissue in an appropriate waste receptacle.
  • When wearing a mask, cough, or sneeze into the mask, while still covering your masked nose and mouth with your elbow.
